Goals for 2012

As the year 2011 comes to a close, I see a lot of people posting about New Year’s Resolutions. I’ve had my own share of resolutions in the past; however I never really followed them through. They tend to be vague and difficult to track, and overall not achievable.

For the new year 2012, instead of resolutions, I have here my New Year’s Goals:

  1. Start a gratitude journal and write down 1 Thank You every day
  2. Start a photo blog
  3. Write everyday (not necessarily for public consumption)
  4. Read 12 books from the list of must-read books
  5. Travel to 1 Philippines destination — Vigan?
  6. Travel to 1 regional destination — Hanoi, Vietnam?
  7. Travel to 1 transcontinental destination — Los Angeles, CA, USA?
  8. Lose two inches in the waist (to be measured first thing in the morning)

  1. 1. I just discovered your blog for the first time and I want to let you know that I SO relate to losing my artistic side as you expressed in the “what” section. I’m glad to know that there are people out there who are passionate enough to be committed to bringing that side back! Thanks for sharing your passion with others!

    2. I have a gratitude journal and it has made a significant difference in my life and attitude! I hope you love it as much as I do!

    3. Let me know if you end up visiting Los Angeles, we’ll hang out!

    1. Hi Breanna, thanks for dropping by!

      1. I’m amazed that anyone actually reads my little blog, haha. I really felt that I lost a part of who I was when I lost touch with my artistic side, and so I worked on bringing that back. It’s a constant work in progress, I know I haven’t gotten there yet. I really appreciate your support!

      2. The gratitude journal is great! It’s been giving me a positive perspective on my days so far. I plan to keep the gratitude journal even after this year. I’m glad to know it works wonderfully for others too!

      3. I really do hope it pushes through. I’ll try my best!
